Pipes have made life that much easier and more bearable. I mean, imagine having to walk 3 miles just to reach the river to get your water. Or what about having to pull up water from the well every day without fail and then having that heavy load all the way back to your home. Terrifying isn’t it. What are ERW and SAW Pipes?

Submerged arc welding steel pipes are also known as SAW steel pipes. SAW is a steel-welding production technique that provides a high current density, which prevents the flux layer from losing heat quickly and concentrates it in the welding region. Submerged arc welded pipe is extensively used in pressure vessels, pipe manufacturing, beams, low-pressure fluid, and steelworks because of its high quality, high production efficiency, and arc and smoke characteristics.

Electric resistance welded steel pipe, also known as ERW steel pipe, is welded by high-frequency welding specified size strip steel rolled into a round tube. ERW is widely utilised in aviation, aerospace, energy, electronics, automotive, light industry, and other industrial sectors because of its high efficiency, cheap cost, material savings, and ease of automation. It is a vital link in the welding process.
